SEMAYO Registration
"Since 2008, the South Eastern Massachusetts Youth Orchestra's have been bringing together talented young musicians from across the Southeastern Massachusetts region to participate in an educational and artistic experience in a full orchestra setting. SEMAYO membership is open to students of grade school age through 21."
The SEMAYO organization is the affiliated youth orchestra program of the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra. We are comprised of four ensembles in which students placed into the appropriate group by new member placement auditions or an active member move-up audition. All students are accepted.
All students participating in the SEMAYO program must participate in and be a member of good standing in their school instrumental music programs.
Please download a registration form below and email it to Mr. Daniels at youth@nbsymphony.org with "New member [name of student]" in the subject line and we will schedule your placement audition. Once you have been assigned an ensemble you may submit tuition online or by check at your completed audition.
If you are in need of financial assistance, please complete the application and submit with your registration form. All participants awarded financial aid are expected to pay some portion of their tuition, full scholarships are not available.
